MANAGED REMOTE COMMUNICATION AND ASSET MANAGEMENT

Emtele's Managed Remote Communication service provides the robust communication infrastructure for manufacturing companies to connect their device and machine asset. Upon this there is Asset Management web application available for handy management of devices, users and connections.



Through the Emtele Communication Center its possible to utilize a GUI targeted especially for enterprise help desk and service men personnel who are consulting Customer’s remote machine and system users and executing on-line diagnosis and configuring remote machines.

The web interface acts as a yellow pages for connectivity, therefore there’s no need to remember different kind of IP addresses and other configurations of installed asset. Through the interface Customer head admins can manage connection access rights and an user can easily open an IP connection or remote desktop connection without any book keeping at his / her browser bookmarks. Customer’s authorized user(s) can admin of profiles and services of users, devices, connections (add, edit and remove). From the GUI users see i.e. the status of the device connections.

The portal is located at the Communication Center behind its main firewall requiring user authentication towards the portal’s web-server. The portal has a configured basic hierarchy for asset management, which can be tailored for certain enterprise usage. Usually this solution requires enterprise tailoring.
